Last year, the Northeast Cancer Centre treated 3000 patients right here in Northern Ontario.
3000 people didn't have to go to Toronto for the care they needed. 3000 people were surrounded by family and friends during a scary, exhausting, painful time. 3000 people whose cancer journeys were a little bit easier.
We've done good work in our community. We want to do more - and we need your help.
We serve a population of 600,000 people. In ten years, that will grow to nearly 700,000. Our cancer care resources need to keep up, which means more beds, more staff, more equipment, more medication.
That's why we're trying to raise $1M to expand the Northeast Cancer Centre.
